The Float Club Vest is a buoyancy aid for dogs. It has a closed-cell foam core, a chin float pad, a stitched spine handle and reflective flanks. Lift ratings are tested wet and stated per size, from 4 lb on XS to 26 lb on XL.
A buoyancy aid is not a substitute for supervision. It helps keep your dog's head above the water. It does not make a dog safe in water and it does not prevent drowning. Always supervise your dog in and around water. Check the fit and the stitching before every session. Do not use it as a restraint, a harness for walking, or a lifting point for anything other than lifting the dog.
Fit is by chest measurement. A vest that is too large rides up over the shoulders and into the throat. If you are between sizes, measure again before you buy.
